The TTD has prepared to celebrate Gokulasthami festival on 25th august inside sri venkateswara temple in tirumala. Sri Krishna’s birthday is celebrated as Gokulasthami.
The TTD has planned to celebrate Lord Sri Krishna birthday with special poojas and prayers between 8.00 pm to 10.30 pm at the Bangaru Vakili.
On 26th august Sri venkateswara swamy and Sri Krishna utsava idols will be taken for a ride in the mada streets on golden vahanas. The devotes of Sri Malayappa swamy will form a human tower to break the butter pot which is hanged above.
On the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami the ttd has cancelled Arjita sevas like Kalyanotsavam, Brahmotsavam, Unjal seva, Vasanthotsavam, Sahasra Deepalankara Seva.
