18 February 2015 Tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam EO Dr D.Samba Siva Rao asserted that Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam will compose as many Annamaiah Keerthans as possible within the subsequent two years.
Addressing the Annamaiah Sankeerthana Sikhamani CD launch function which happened in Annamacharya Kalamandiram at Tirupati on Wednesday night, the EO stated, out of 32000 songs composed by the saint poet solely 17 thousand plus have been recognized whereas music has been composed solely to 1700 keerthans.
He stated, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam would speed up the recording process and will compose extra number of CDs within the subsequent two years. “We are planning to deliver out increasingly number of CDs by Veda Recording Project with out compromise on high quality. Öur goal is to compose extra songs within the subsequent two years which is more than what we have now brought out in the past 25 years. During Shravana Nakshatra of Every month, one CD or extra can be launched”, he maintained.
Earlier, Tirupati JEO Mr.P.Bhaskar mentioned, TTD is considering to conduct competitions at village stage which can be broadcasted by SVBC.
Renowned artistes, Mr.Saluru Vasu Rao will determine little one artistes and compose songs with them whereas Mr.Ramachary and Mr.Balasuramanyam will encourage the youth, he maintained.
