19-03-16, Visakhapatnam : The Annual Kalyanotsavam of Sri Venkateswara Swamy was grandly celebrated at Upamaka v/o Nakkapalli Mandal in Visakhapatnam district. The Kalyanotsavam started from 11.45 pm to and ended on the next day at 2.00 AM.
Abishekam was performed to the Mula Virat idol in the temple on the morning. Many homas were performed during the celebration to invite Asthadikpalaka’s in the morning and evening. Dwajarohanam started at 1.15 PM to 2.00 PM.
From 7.00 PM to 10.00 PM Garuda Vahana seva procession was performed on the Sri Chakra Perumal street and at 10.30 pm Rathotsavam was performed.
On sunday Hamsa Vahana seva for Lord Venkateswara, Sridevi and Bhudevi was conducted.
Top temple officials Special grade DyEO Smt Chenchulakshmi, AEO Mr.Radhakrishna, TTD Superintendents Mr.Sharma and Mr.Pavan Kumar and AVSO Mr.Ramakrishna were also participated on all celebrations.
