Chandigarh Sri Sri Radha Madhav Temple Open and Closing Timings, Pooja Timings

Hare Krishna Dham or ISKCON Chandigarh is located on three hectares of main land. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder of ISKCON, inspired the construction of a temple of Lord Krishna and the Vedic Cultural Center in Chandigarh.

Sri Sri Radha Madhav Temple:

The very beautiful couple Sri Sri Radha Madhava are presidential deities installed in the temple in the late 70’s It is a spiritual oasis in the dry and demanding material life of “beautiful city of India”. Opened in 1978, this complex features a large Brahmcari marble and ashram temple, a guest house where members can stay and participate in daily spiritual temple programs.

4:30 a.m to 5:00 a.m.
7:15 a.m to 12:45 p.m.
4:15 p.m to 8:30 p.m.

Daily Worship Timings:

4:30 am – Mangala arati : first puja & darshan of Lord Sri Radha Madhav with arati & kirtana (in the main temple hall)
5:00 am – Sri Tulasi puja (with Deities darshan closed)
5:20 am to 07:15 am Japa Meditation (Darshan closed),
7:15 am – Shringara darshan – puja of Lord Sri Radha Krishna-Chandra after shringara, with arati & kirtana (main temple hall)
7:30 am – Parikrama of the Deities in procession with kirtana, with the murti of Srila Prabhupada
7:35 am – Sri Guru Puja of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada
8:00 am – Lecture on the Srimad-Bhagavatam
12:00 noon – Raja bhoga offering
12:45 pm to 4:15 pm Shayana seva (darshan closed during this time)

Afternoon Break

4:15 pm – Dhupa arati (darshan opens)
6:45 pm – Sri Tulasi Puja
7:00 pm – Sandhya arati – puja of the Lord with arati & kirtana
8:15 pm – Shayana Aarti
8:30 pm – Temple closes
