Climatic Factors of Farahabad:
The place is cool throughout the year. But the best time to visit this place is from August to February. One can take the pleasure of winters here and have a feel of nature in the true sense. The mist is so thick in the winters that it is said that one may not be able to see the other person even when the other is standing just beside you.

Tourist Attractions of Farahabad Forest View Point:
The view point is the best place for trekking. The forest and the natural waters and hills add to the experience. One may also take up the Safari to enjoy the view point. One may directly go to Farahabad from Hyderabad or may go via Munnupur which is the starting point of the reserve.
Hyderabad to Farahabad View point is 156 Kms which is close to 4 hours drive from Hyderabad.
Hyderabad to Munnanur in Mahabubnagar District is 138 Kms which is a 3 hour drive from Hyderabad.

How to Reach the Place:
By Road: The Forest Department arranges trips from Muuanur to Farahabad view point. Munnanur is located about 138 Kms to the sounth of Hyderabad. Many Public transport services are available mostly from Hyderabad. There are also some direct buses to Mannanur from Mahabubnagar.

By Train:One can also avail the train services and get down at Wanaparthy station which is 129 kms away. One may also get down in Arepalli station (near Gadwal) which is 153 kms respectively Munnanur.

By Air:Nearest Airport is at Shamshabad at Hyderabad. This is around 150 Kms from Munnanur Forest Check post. One may take up a private transport then.

Where to Stay:
There are various options available to the tourists for accommodation. One can find good and comfortable accommodation at Forest Rest House at Mannanur and at Farahabad view point hill. Tourists may also avail multiple stay options near Nagarjunsagar Dam and Srisailam dam. Else the tourists may also stay at Tiger wild reserve, where camping is allowed.
