3 March 2015 Tirumala: On Tuesday evening the processional deity of Lord Malyappa Swamy with his two consorts glided smoothly on the beautifully decked float on the waves of Swamy
Pushkarini to the rhythmic chant of vedic hymns, for the five days annual float festival of Teppotsavam.
On the first day and second days Sri Rama and Sri Krishna enchanted the pilgrims, But on the third day Lord Sri Malayappa Swamy enthrall the pilgrims with his own form on the annual Plavotsavam.
The Lord will take a pleasant journey within the sacred waters of the Swamy Pushkarini (temple tank) from 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm for three rounds alongside the Vasantha Mandapam situated on the center of Swamy Pushkarini.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Joint Executive Officer Mr.K.S.Seenivasa Raju, ACV&SO Mr.Sivakumar Reddy, Temple DyEO Mr.Chinnamgari Ramana, Peishkars Mr. R Selvam, Mr.Kesava Raju and large number of devotees took part in the event.
