There has been a Hare Krishna Temple located in East Hartford, Connecticut since 1978. We first rented a house in Silver Lane, and after a year and a half (February 1980), we bought the current building, located at 1683 Main Street. During the early years, there were several temple presidents, and in 1981 Pyari Mohan Prabhu arrived and served as temple president ever since. The deities who preside over our East Hartford Temple are Lord Jagannatha, Lord Balarama and Lady Subhadra, as well as Sri Sri Gaura Nitai. Please come and take your darshan.
