17 February 2015 Srinivasa Mangapuram, Tirupati: On Tuesday Tens of thousands of devotees were filled with wonder to witness the charm of Lord Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy flanked with his two companion on his two sides on the mighty Ratham, on the second last day of ongoing Brahmotsavams in Srinivasa Mangapuram near tirupati.
On the Morning between 8 am to 9.30 am Lord was taken out for a holy ride along the starts surrounding the shrine.
All the devotes of all ages take part to pull the huge chariot on this auspicious occasion.
Puranas says, human body is taken into account to be chariot, Wisdom the charioteer, soul the grip and senses because the horses that pull the cart. On the whole, the supreme almighty preaches that one has to manage his or her senses as a way to pull the body which is described as chariot utilizing knowledge to steer a peaceable life. Hence Rathotsavam is taken into account to be one of the essential spiritual fetes throughout Brahmotsavams.
The cultural programmes and Bhajan troupes in front of the chariot stood as special attraction at the event.
Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam JEO Mr.Pola Bhaskar, Chandragiri MLA Mr.Chavireddy Bhaskar Reddy, ACSO Mr.Sivakumar Reddy, Suptd Engineers Mr.Sudhakar Rao, Mr.Ramachandra Reddy, VGO Mr.Raveendra Reddy, DyEO Mr.Sridhar, AEO Mr.Dhanajeyulu, Temple Staff and large number of devotees took part.
