National Seminar on Agamas Sadas will start from 7th to 9th January in Sri Venkateswara Vedic varsity at Tirupati.
This Agamas Sadas will be for 3 days.Executive officer and Junior executive officer’s Dr D.Sambasiva Rao and Sri K.S.Sreenivasa Raju and Sri P.Bhaskar from Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam will take part in the inaugural function.
Andhra Pradesh Endowments Minister Sri Manikyala Rao and former executive officer Sri L.V.Subramanyam from TTD will take part in the closing cermoney.
Dr A.V.Ramana Dikshitulu the Chief Priest of Tirumala, will deliver the keynote address. The entire agama sadas will be organised under the guidance by Sri Sundaravadanacharyulu, TTD Agama Advisor and in the supervision of varsity VC Sri K.E.Devanathan.
Over 150 agama scholars from across the country will take part in this National seminar and present scholarly papers on Vaikhanasa, Saiva and Pancharatra agamas. Experts will also be presented with the title “Maha Kalpadrumaha” for their expertise in the three agamas.Srinivasa Kalyanam will be performed in Sri Mahavishnu Yagashala premises in varsity from 5 pm to 7 pm on the second day (January 8).
