Nine Days Annual Brahmotsavam In Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Temple

18 March 2015 Tirupati: The nine days annual brahmotsavam in Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple in Tirupati grandly started with Dhwajarohana Mahotsavam in between 9.00 am to 9.30 am in Mesha Lagnam on Wednesday.

The Garuda Flag was hoisted on the Dhwajastambam by signalling invitation to all the devatas, gods followers and gods in 14 lokas to take part in the Navahnika Brahmosavams, this is followed by Asthanam and Snapana Tirumanjanam.

Tirupati JEO Mr.P.Bhaskar speaking to media persons on this religious ceremony said, elaborate preparations have been made for this huge spiritual event. He gave a invitation to the locals to take part in large numbers for this nine days annual brahmotsavam and he requested them to co-operate with the TTD and police by following the traffic rules and regulations during Vahanam processions.

The JEO Mr.P.Bhaskar started Ramakoti Rachana in the temple premises. The flower exhibition stood was a special attraction with traditional themes which includes Ravanasura, Hanuman and Sita devi in Ashoka Vanam Rama, Hanuman and Ravanasura war episodes and more. The flower exhibition was inaugurated by the JEO Mr.P.Bhaskar followed by released of Valmikipuram Brahmotsavam Posters at this occasion

The annual brahmotsavams of this yet another ancient temple which is under the umbrella of TTD is set to commence from March 26 and will conclude on April 3.

In the evening, Lord Sri Rama was taken for a holy ride on Pedda Sesha Vahana between 8.00 pm to 10.00 pm.
