Potato Curry Recipe for Sri Rama Navami | Aloo Curry Recipe

People do not believe in buying food during Ram Navami; they think it is very outdated. They cook food, and serve the same with a personal touch during special occasions. Preparing and serving special dishes during Ram Navami is easy if you know the recipes.

Potato Curry:
During Sri Ram Navami one does not have to take sweet dishes only. There are other items available too. For example, potato curry brings a change and removes the monotony. Potato curry is widely eaten dish. The method of cooking is very easy. The recipe is shown as follows:-

Ingredients:
3-4 potatoes
3 or 4 green chillies
1 ½ teaspoon oil/ghee
Half cup finely chopped coriander (dhaniya) leaves
Rock salt
Water

Aloo Curry Recipe

Potato Curry Process:
Boil the potatoes till they are tender.
Peel them. Thickly slice the potatoes.
Heat a pan for a minute. Add oil or ghee.
Add the green chillies
When the chillies start crackling, add the thickly sliced potatoes. Sprinkle some rock salt.
Stir fry. Mix all of them evenly.
Add water for making gravy of the potato curry
Garnish the potato curry dish with coriander leaves
