About Shree Jagannath Namahatta
The ISKCON temple in Parassala (a small town on the southern border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu) was established in 2002 and on Sunday talk shows, feasts, festivals, book distribution and yearly Rath Yatra, we hope to spread the philosophy from Krishna consciousness to the people of this region.
The main deity in the temple altar is Sri Sri Jagannath, Baladev and Subadhra. The temple also houses a sacred (shelter for cows) and a Vedic school that offers early childhood education. We, unfortunately, for the moment, we have guest houses, but if we are informed well in advance, we can help the faithful to find accommodation in neighboring areas or in the city of Trivandrum.
The Sri Adikesavaperumal temple in Thiruvattar, Thirupathisaram near Nagercoil, Nagercoil ISKCON, Sthanumalayan Suchindram temple, Sri Krishnaswamy temple in Neyyatinkara and many other Vishnu attractions can be easily reached from ISKCON Parassala.

How to Reach Parassala ISKCON:
By Air:
Trivandrum International Airport is the nearest airport
By Rail:
Parassala has a station (PASA). But most fast / express trains do not stop here. You should get off at Neyyatinkara and take a bus to Parassala (10kM). Trivandrum Central Station (TVC) is well connected. You can take a bus directly to Parassala. (28 km, 1 hour, 15 minutes by road)
By Road:
Parassala is a small village town located on the NH. When you travel from Trivandrum, it is about 28km on the NH, towards Kanyakumari. It is well connected by both KSRTC and Tamil Nadu State Transport busses plying between Trivandrum and Nagercoil.
