6-04-2016, Tirupati: On Wednesday morning the Processional deity of Sri Rama had a holy ride on Simha Vahanam on the 3rd day of Navahnika Brahmotsavams in Tirupati Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple and blessed the devotees.
Significance of Simha Vahanam: Simha (Lion) serves as a symbolic message of stability and sound judgment. Lion shares the world of each evening and day and bears a message of prudence to us. Apart from a logo for energy, different symbolic attributes of the lion consists of Knowledge, Energy, Royalty, Dignity, Braveness, Justice, Ferocity, Dominion and Authority.
Dyeo Smt Munilakshmi, Superintendent Mr.Uma Maheshwar Reddy Temple Inspector Mr.Sesha Reddy, Temple Archaka Sri Nandu Swamy, Archakas Sri Kiran Swamy, Tarun Swamy, other officers and large number of devotees took part in the event.
