Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple Timings, Fee, Daily Pooja

Sri Venugopalaswamy Temple is located in Karveti Nagaram, near Puttur, 48 km from Tirupati. This ancient temple of Sri Venugopala Swamy is the only Sri Krishna temple in and surroundings Tirupati. Lord Krishna was represented in his childhood form. The idol of the Lord is with a flute in his hand while standing in front of a cow. A pot of butter is also kept before the Lord, according to legends, Lord Krishna, in his form as a little boy, used to love butter. Through the statues of the Lord, the statues of their beloved spouses, Goddess Rukmini Devi and the Goddess Satyabhama Ammavaru are also placed in the main temple.

From Tirupati, you can take the bus to Puttur, which is about 48 km from the Tirupati bus terminus. Darshan Timings of Sri Venugopala Swamy temple is from 6.00 AM to 11.00 AM in the morning and from 4.00 PM to 8.00 PM at night. At present, the temple is under the administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam.
