Annamayya Keerthana – Kodekaade Veede Meaning:
Here is young Govinda who has two consorts.
Gopikas are fascinated with Govinda. He is known as butter thief. Govinada played on flute and wielded conch and discus. He grew up in the houses of cowherd maids.
Govinda tended cattle holding a staff. He vanquished wicked Kamsa. He lifted Govardhana hill easily. He rescued helpless women in captivity.
Govinda is beautiful in golden costume. He played with cowherd boys on streets. He drove away demons. Govinda established himself well on golden Venkatadri.
