AP Chief Minister offers Silk Vastrams to Srivaru

Tirumala 3/10/16: The honorable chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Nara Chandra Babu Naidu had offered the Lord new cloth of silk as a mark of obeisance representing the government of the state.

In the position of the State Head Sri Naidu has carried the vastrams from Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple to the Srivari Temple in a very traditional manner. Then he offered his respects in the form of prayers to the Lord Venkateswara Swamy and then the vedic pundits have offered him the vedasirvachanam to the chief minister and his team at the Ranganayakula Mandapam after completing his darshan. Later he participated in the vahana seva-Peddasesha Vahanam.

Later the chief minister also released the calendar of twelve pages of the twelve months with each page containing the images of goddesses Padmavathi and the Lord Venkateswara and also the dairies of the coming year 2017.
