Huge number of devotes has gathered from the near villages to watch the Gaja Vahana Seva of Sri Venugopala Swamy with his consorts in Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple at Karvetinagaram near puttur.
After Palu(milk) abhishekam, Ghee abhishekam, Sandal abhishekam and Coconut water abhishekams the processional deities of Sri Rukmini, Satyabhama Sametha and Sri Venugopala Swamy were taken for a holy ride on Gaja Vahanam on the streets around the temple in a grand manner.
