After performing Naga Prathishta pooja at Rameswaram go to Nagarkoil, Nagaraj temple (Serpent God) and perform the pooja. It is believed that the 
Naga Prathishta is said to be completed, only when a pooja is performed in this Nagaraj Temple. Nagaraj temple at Nagarkoil is in Tamil Nadu which is about 320 km from Rameswaram. This pooja removes not only your and ancestral Nagadosham, but also protects your coming generations.

- DBS RMM Express (18496) available on Friday only at 11.55 pm.
- Rameshwaram Exp (16734) from Okha at 07.50 pm on every Tuesday.
- Cape Rmm Exp (12790) at 05.20 am on Tuesday, Friday & Sunday from Kanyakumari (Cape Town).

Sorry to say that we don’t know anybody over there. Also for now most of the temples in Tamilnadu were closed and this is not the right time to plan.
Below are the information about Naaga Prathishta Procedure at Rameeshwaram temple. –
To perform Naaga Prathishta pooja, you need to reach Rameeshwaram a day before you planed date or suggested day/ date by your astrologer and scout around the place for a suitable Purohith (availble in plenty). You can talk to two or three Purohith and find one whom you feel comfortable.
Of if you need to assist a good Purohith, contact the temple officials, but not necessary as pleanty of Purohiths will be there near the temple itself. Also dont go there you alone, take one / some of your family members with you.
First be specific about your Budget say 7500 – 8000 Rs not more than 10000 rs, and poojas to be perform and. Be spefici in your budget and they will do the pooja as per your Budget only. They will inform you for cost would be around 10000 to 15000 rs. So bargain as I said above.
Did your astrologer given you any “Yanthra” or a small statue of a piece of plate which you need to carry along. If nothing has been given, take down a brief description in writing from your Astrologer and carry along. Or else you can give your birth details to the Purohith there at Rameeshwaram and they will do accordingly.
After selecting a Purohith and finalising your Budget, get his contact number and verify it. Then the Purohith will explain you the complete procedure that you need to
Food for you and others, may also be arranged by the Purohith itself during the initial interact. But be specific about your Budget for any thing and the type of ceremonies you need to perform, All poojas will be performed based on the budget you indicate.
The Purohith will instruct you to take bath before 3:00 pm at Agni Theertham. First Kalasa Pooja will be performed between 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm. After Kalasa Pooja, the devotee can take rest for the day.
Next day by 7:00 am, Homam, Sarpa Shanthi Pooja and Naga Pratishta will be performed. Naaga Idol of about a feet in hieght will be installed on the following day.
8 priests will perform this Pooja. So it costs a little bit high. So to my suggestion its better to perform Naaga Prathishta pooja at Kukke Subrahmanya temple which is famous for this pooja where you can get it done with no hurdles regarding language.
Naga Pratishta Procedure – Naga Panchami, Garuda Panchami, or any Panchami thithi, Ekadasi days.
This Pratishta can be performed in single or as couple. Other family members are allowed to sit beside the devotee.
Online Booking is not available for this Pooja.

First consult your astrologer – would have given you a “yentharam” or any Naaga Prathima (statue) which you need to carry there. If nothing has been given, take his adivese in brief about what to do and how to do there.
You need to reach Rameeshwaram temple a day before the desired day you want to perform the ritual. Once you reach the temple beach place you can find a lot of Purohiths available there where you can find the one who is comfortable for you after a negotiation regarding the price for the ritual.
Be decided about your budget and the type of ceremonies you need to perform. Also you need to donate food for some number of people you wish to. Here poojas will be performed based on your budget you mention to the Purohith, so be specific and very clear about it. There are a lot of houses available where they will organise the same for you.
Once finalised on the price and the Purohith. Then purohit will advice you about the priocedure, i.e., if the pooja needs to start from the Agni Theertham (beach) or what else. So follow the instructions of the Purohith and get the pariharam done.
Rameeshwaram is one of the most auspicious place meant for Pithru Dosha Nivarana pooja and ash offering ceremony.
Or you can perform Naaga Prathishta pooja at Kukke Subrahmanya temple also.

Any body can perform Naaga prathishta pooja in any temple where it is held.
You can do this pooja at Mopi Devi Subrahmanya temple, Pedakakani temple, Thirumalgiri Naaga devatha temple.
So contact the temple officials in person on the day which you want to. Normally you can do this on a Krishna Paksha Panchami is auspicious.
