There is no rules or practices to follow in a precise manner to worship Sai Baba. Any one can worship as per their normal procedure like offering flowers, any fruits, sweets or savours, masala rice, dhup dheep Haarathi etc,.
But worshippers should follow honesty, peace, and forgiving mentality.
Thursday is said to be the auspicious day to worship Sai Baba.
So just worshipping / chanting his naama sitting before the lord on this day sincerely and devotedly with purest heart, one can get self realisation, peace of mind and many other virtues. Even he answers for you question in any form then and there itself.
Performing Haarathi pooja at you puja room on every Thursdays is more than enough to get his blessings. But do visit his temple regularly to get his blessings.
