Annavaram Swamy Vari Annual Kalyanam (Brahmotsavam)
As per the convenience of the pilgrims marriage of the Lord is celebrated for six days starting from Vaisakha Suddha Ekadasi which comes in between April and May.
The schedule of these six days are as follows:
Vaisakha Suddha Dasami:
For Satyanarayana swamy’s marriage Lord Rama and Sita will go to the village in a silver Anjeneya Vahanam to invite the villagers and others for the next day marriage. On the marriage day Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy is dressed up as bridegroom and does Vighneswara pooja.
Vaisakha Suddha Ekadasi:
Kalyana mahothsavam is held starting with the flag hosting Lord Rama and Sita will be brought in Gajavahanam bringing the Mangasuthram and Lord Satyanarayana will be brought on Silver Garuda Vahanam.
Vaisakha Suddha Dwadasi:
Rituals are performed as follows: morning Prathamahoman, afternoon Asthanaseva and in the night Ravana Vhanam.
Vaisakha Suddha Triodasi:
Kalyanasadasyam of Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy, Sri Rama Sahapathi, Mahadasirvadam, Sabhasathkaram at Panditasabha along with these in the night procession on Ponnvahanam is done.
Vaisakha Suddha Chathudasi:
Vighraham of the Lord is carried on golden vahanam from north of ratnagiri to mahanivedana, special veena performance along with the car festival is performed in the night.
Vaisakha Purnima:
Chakra Teertham and Nakabali are the rituals done during Vaisakha purnima.
Bahula Padyami:
Conference of poets and scholars along with music is done during Ugadi Pushpayagamahotsavam. Except these 6 days Nitya Kalyanam is performed, the cost of the ticket for this is Rs 1000/-.
