On Tuesday Mr N Chandra Babu Naidu Honirable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh has offered the saree (Tirumala) to River Godavari goddess at Rajamundry Pushkar Ghat with Veda Mantras and Mangala Vaidyams.
Prior, the Sare was conveyed to Pushkar Ghat from Srivari sanctuary situated at civil grounds in Rajamundry by TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao, JEO Tirumala Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju and exceptional Pumas were performed to sacrosanct Godavari waters with vermilion, turmeric, blooms, bangles and other heavenly things.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams PRO Dr T.Ravi, Temple OSD Mr. P.Seshadri and other officers were also present.
