About The Temple:
The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) is a big group that’s all over the world. They focus on the ideas and ways of Krishna Consciousness, which is also called Bhakti Yoga.
The teachings of Krishna Consciousness help us discover our real selves and get closer to Krishna – who they believe is the most important truth and the origin of all life. To do this, they use things like repeating special words, learning about their beliefs, and doing things that show their devotion.
The Maha Mantra:
Hare Krishna
Hare Krishna
Krishna Krishna
Hare Hare
Hare Rama
Hare Rama
Rama Rama
Hare Hare
The word mantra is derived from the two Sanskrit words “manas” (mind) and “trayate” (to deliver). Of all mantras in the Vedas, one is called the maha-mantra, the great mantra, as it holds great spiritual power. Repeated chanting of this mantra, purifies our minds and brings about peace and harmony.
Hare | Address to God’s energy
