5 Feburary 2015 Tirupat: Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam at Srinivasa Mangapuram was performed with a religious spirit at Lord Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram in Tirupati today in link with annual Brahmotsavams of the temple which are planned to take place from February 10 to February 18 this year.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has cancelled Tiruppavada following the festival in the temple. Meanwhile there will be no sarva darshan from 6 am to 11 am as a result of the event.
The whole temple and the puja appliance, was cleansed and a nice fragrant paste which was smeared everywhere in the roof top and partitions of the temple. After cleaning process particular puja was carried out to the presiding deity and sarva darshan is resumed to pilgrims.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Executive Officer Dr Samba Siva Rao, Tirupati Joint Executive Officer Mr.P.Bhaskar, Deputy Executive Officer Mr. E.C.Sreedhar and others were also present.
