1-05-2016, Tirupati: Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam the cleaning festival was observed on Friday in the ancient temple Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Tirupati. Annual Brahmotsavams was starting from 4th April in Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple.
The entire roof, walls, puja articles were cleaned with aromatic ingredients mixture. Darshan was stopped for Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam, After the cleaning, the devotees were allowed for darshan.
Tirupati Joint Executive Officer Mr. Pola Bhaskar temple Dyeo Smt Munilakshmi, Superintendent Sri Uma Mahaeswar Reddy and other temple officers were also present at the Tirumanjanam.
