Mahamrityunjaya Mantra in Telugu, English, Tamil and Sanskrit with Meaning

The Lord Shiva Mantra is also known as the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra. It is considered an extremely powerful mantra by Hindus. Chanting of Mahamrityunjaya Mantra is said to produce divine vibrations that heal, and thus the mantra is also known as the Moksha Mantra of Lord Shiva. It is also believed that the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra evokes the devotee towards Lord Shiva among human beings which also removes the fear of death.

Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra Meaning:

Om. We pray to the Three-Eyed Lord Shiva who is fragrant and who increasingly nourishes the devotees. Worshipping him may we be liberated from death for the sake of immortality just as the ripe cucumber easily separates itself from the binding stalk.

Explanation:

The mantra is a worship of Lord Shiva. Shankara is blessings and the giver. The other name of Lord Shiva is Trayambaka, which is a three-eyed one where the third eye signifies the giver of knowledge and releases the cycle of death and rebirth.
