Nagpur BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir History:
Pramukh Swami Maharaj sowed the seeds of satsang in 1976 when he visited the Vidarbha region. In 1993, Pramukh Swami Maharaj performed the hari mandir murti-pratishtha in the suburbs of Vardhmannagar. Later, in 1997, Swamishri inaugurated the Swaminarayan School. In 2004, the inauguration ceremony of the mandir shikharbaddh took place in the suburbs of Wathoda. The newly constructed murti-pratishtha of the mandir shikharbaddh was made in 2013.

The photograph or video for personal use may be taken from the ground outside the Mandir only. We ask visitors to help us preserve the sanctity of the Mandir by not taking any picture or video in the Mandir. Please note that photography or video shooting inside the mandir is strictly forbidden. No photography or professional photo shoot is allowed with photographic equipment.
