Rahu Ketu / Sarpa Dosha Nivarana Pooja is performed daily between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM in Sri Kalahasteeswara Swami Temple in Sri Kalahasti. Rahu Ketu Pooja in Sri Kalahast temple will be performed batch-wise in Mandapam and in the halls, for which the entrance and exit doors will be different because the devotee after finishing Pooja must leave for Lord Shiva Darshan inside the Temple.
For Rs.500 ticket, everyone can sit in a hall, it will be crowded and still have room to perform Pooja. - One day before pooja, you have to sleep on the floor (not compulsory)
- The next day morning, after the bath, plan to arrive at the temple early and perform an Abhishekam with milk to the idols at Rudra Padam (which is 100 feet from Pathala Ganapathi), then make 3 Pradakshinam to the idols Simply sprinkle the milk on the idols. Rudra Padam is where Rahu Ketu Pooja and Kala Sarpa Dosh pooja once played.
- After Abhishekam, perform Rahu Ketu Kala or Sarpa Dosha Pooja
- After performing the pooja, plan to donate meals or fruits to 2 or 3 poor people.
- Take bath after reaching the hotel or home, No need to remove or throw clothes.
