Sabarimala Ayyappa Hill Shrine will open on Tuesday evening for the annual Mandala-Makaravillakku’s for the two-month season, in accordance with strict COVID-19 protocol. Devotees would be allowed to enter the temple.
- The festival season begins on November 16
- All devotees must wear masks and use sanitizers.
- 25000 devotees will be allowed for darshan every day.
- Two vaccine doses Certificate or recent RT-PCR negative test report to be produced.
- All Devotees will not be permitted to stay at sannidhanam after darshan
- There is no age restriction.
- Devotees are not allowed to take forest paths through Erumeli nor the daily routine to Sannidhanam through Pulmedu.
- Devotees can have a bath in Pampa river
- All private vehicles are restricted up to Nilackal.
- Only KSRTC buses are allowed to reach Pampa river
