Ganapathi Homam:
Lord Ganesha removes all obstacles and hence he is also known as ‘Vighneshwara’. Vighnam means obstacles, and Vighneswara means the lord who removes all obstacles.
Ganapathy Homam is performed to get rid of obstacles. It should be performed in the early morning with Poornahuthi offering before sunrise. Performing a Ganapathy Homam before beginning any new venture or initiating a good career is considered highly auspicious and it will bring good luck.

The Archanai that contains 108 respected names of God is called the “Ashtothra Satham” and that which contains 1008 names is called the “Sahasranamam”. If we perform Archanai with love, devotion and concentration, we can fulfil our wishes and attain God’s grace and bliss.

Chathur Laksha Jeba Homam is an important Homam performed for Lord Vinayagar,. This Homam, as referred in Hindu Aagama Sasthiram, is performed as follows.

The above referred Jebam is performed with Lord Vinayagar’s special “Moola-Manthira Ganapathy Yekashura Manthiram”. The Jebam should be performed with devotion and thiraviyangal (sacred waters) that is loved by Lord Vinayagar, and we will enjoy the blessings of the god with good health, peace and prosperity.
