About ISKCON Dwarka:
ISKCON Dwarka is a Hare Krishna temple and ashram community dedicated to practicing Bhakti-yoga or a service of love to Krishna, the Supreme Person. We are a branch of the International Society for the Consciousness of Krishna (ISKCON), a worldwide spiritual movement founded by His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, in New York City in 1966. Under the direction of His Holiness Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj, ISKCON Dwarka is home to a loving community of Hare Krishna practitioners and followers of more than 20 resident monks.
The beginning of ISKCON’s Dwarka Temple was humble enough. It started under a tree during the summer of 2012. very shrubs and wild land was infertile. But, the earth was really waiting for the blessings of Lord Krishna. In January 2013, the ceremony took place BhoomiPujan and after 6 months in July 2013, the temple was inaugurated. At present, the temple is temporary, but offers an absolute experience of culture and tradition.
