Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple or Thiruparankundram Subramanya Swamy Temple is an ancient temple built in rock-cut architecture and is believed to have been built by the Pandyas during the 6th century. This Murugan Temple is located at Thiruparankundram, Tamilnadu, India. It is regarded as one of the “six Abodes of Murugan” (Arupadai Veedu). The other 5 Abodes of Murugan are Palani Murugan Temple/Sri Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple, Swamimalai Sri Swaminatha Swamy Temple, Tiruttani Sri Subramaniya Swamy Temple, Pazhamudircholai Sri Solaimalai Murugan Temple and Tiruchendur Sri Subramaniya Swamy Temple.
