Celebrate the grand Durga Navratri festival at the prestigious Kanakadurga temple in Vijayawada. Witness the nine-day extravaganza of Dasara with its nine unique Alankaranas. This year, the Dasara Sharan Navaratri Utsavalu will commence on October 15th, the auspicious day of Aswayuja Suddha Padyami, and conclude on October 24th, Aswayuja Suddha Dasami (Vijaya Dasami).
On October 15th, the temple gates will open at 8:00 AM following the Snapanam ritual. For the remaining days, the temple will be accessible for Darshanam from 3:00 AM to 11:00 PM. On the day of Moola Nakshatram, the temple timings are from 2:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Notably, the Andhra Pradesh Government will present Pattu Vastralu (silk clothing) on Saraswati Alankaram day between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The festivities will culminate on October 24th, Vijayadasami Day, with the conduct of Poornahuti, Kalasa Udvasana, Teppostavam, and Shamipooja.

- 21 October – Pulihora (Tamarind Rice) and Pesara Boorelu (Wadas made of Lentils) are offered as naivedya. (Lalita Panchami, Navratri Chaturthi).
- 22 October – Gaarelu (Wada) & Lemon juice flavored Ginger pieces are offered as naivedyam. (Durga Ashtami, Maha Ashtami & Navaratri Ashtami).
- 23 October – Chakrapongali (Sugar Pongal – Rice recipe made with Sugar) is offered. (Durga Navami, Maha Navami, Navaratri Navami).
- 23 October – Pulihora (Tamarind Rice) and Garelu (Wada) are offered as Naivedyam. (Vijayadashami, Dussehra).
