Alwal Venkateswara Swamy Temple Timings, History

Alwal Venkateswara Swamy Temple or Balaji Temple is an ancient and famous temple in Medchal-Malkajgiri District, Secunderabad, Telangana state. Sri Venkateswara Swamy is the primary deity of this temple. The temple was built during the 18th century. The name Alwal comes from the Alwars, who were Tamil poets and devotees followers of Sri Vishnu.

The Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Alwal is small in size. Devotees from all over the Medchal district come here and perform various pujas. It is believed that the lord here grants all the wishes of his devotees with his blessings. On Vaikunta Ekadashi, thousands of devotees from surrounding areas come here and worship the Lord with special pujas and Archana.
