Dharmasthala Temple 2021 Deepotsava Dates

Dharmasthala Temple Deepotsava is an annual festival celebrated in Dharmasthala Manjunatha Temple. Laksha Deepotsavam will be celebrated on the last five days in Karthika Masam. On these days folk dances, Hari Katha and Bhajans are also performed. This year Deepotsava will start on 29th November and ends on 4th December 2021.

November 29 – Hosakatte Utsav

November 30 – Kerkatte Utsav

December 01 – Lalitodyana Utsav

December 02 – Kanchimaru Katte Utsav

December 03 – Gaurimaru Katte Utsav

December 04 – Sri Chandranatha Swamy Samavasarana Pooja.

Dharmasthala Darshan Schedule:

Sarva Darshan 6:30 AM to 11:00 AM
Shatharudra Abhisheka – 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Sahasra Namarchana – 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Naivedyam – 11:30 AM to 12:00 Noon
Maha Pooja – 12:00 Noon to 12:15 PM
Nithyabali 12:10 PM
Sarva Darshan – 12:15 PM to 2:30 PM
Temple remains closed – 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM –
Temple reopens – 5:00 PM
Sarva Darshan 5:00 PM to 8:40 PM
Maha Pooja – 8:30 PM to 8:45 PM
Nithyabali – 8:45 PM
Temple closing time – 9:30 PM

Dharmasthala Timings Dress Code:

A strict dress code is followed in Dharmasthala Sri Manjunatha Temple.
For Men: White Pancha, Dhoti. No Shirt or Banian allowed. Pant is allowed.
For Female: Saree with blouse/ Punjabi Dress with Dupatta / Chudidhar with Dupatta/ Half saree.
