HSNEF Mandir Bala Vidya Mandir:

Bala Vidya Mandir varies in age from 4 to 14 years, although younger children are encouraged to attend to start early. Bala Vidya Mandir is designed to help children learn about Indian culture and heritage and the Hindu religion. They learn a lot of slokas and bhajans in the class. Pandit Srinathji visits the class from time to time to speak with the children of the Hindu religion and Indian culture. In September 2007, as part of Bala Vidya Mandir, the yoga exercise was introduced and is running successfully. The children of Bala Vidya Mandir sing slokas and bhajans in front of the temple congregation on important religious events such as

Maha Shivratri
Ram Navami
Ganesh Chathurthi
Krishna Janmashtami
Geetaha Jayanthi
etc..

This helps the childrens develop self-esteem and confidence to act in public and overcome stage fright in the early stages.

Bala Vidya Mandir succeeds only because of the dedication of parents who take care to bring their children regularly to classes. BVM courses take place on the first and third Sundays of the month from 10.30am. at 11:30 am To register, take your child (ren) to class and fill out a registration form. With all your support, Bala Vidya Mandir will see you through another decade easily. If you need more information or have any questions, send an email to bvm@hsnef.org
