Brahmotsavam meaning “Brahma’s Utsavam.
Brahmotsavam is an annual festival at Tirumala for Sri Balaji. Here this celebration will be celebrated for nine days in the months of September and October. This celebration attracts pilgrims and tourists from all over India and world.
It is believed that Lord Brahma first performed this festival of Lord Balaji at Tirupati for Lord Venkateshwara. Hence, this utsava bears his name as “Brahmotsavam,” which means “Brahma’s Utsavam.”
