A Paigah tomb is the most popular sightseeing in Hyderabad. It occupies 30-40 acres of area. paigah tombs is identified as late 18th century. paigah tombs are known for architectural excellence. The tombs present a blend of Asaf jah and Rajputain style of architecture and one of the best examples of Indo saracenic architecture. paigah tombs built white marble to attract the visitors with his intricately designed interiors. It is very close location to charminar to visit the paigah tombs .This place is one of the popular tourism place in Hyderabad. These are situated in santosh nagar. Paigahs married a Nizams daughter. Who were the highest ranking nobles in the princely state of Hyderabad? After the Nizams family the paigahs were the only noble family, who were permitted by sultan to have their private army.

Paigahs tombs decorated with a crafted geometrical pattern design. The tomb has a talent and skilfully carved and their inlaid mosaic tile work is breathtaking and you can also see the jail work makes it more attractive. There is a unique and different style of design for each and every tomb. Mostly the tomb consists of elaborate covering and marble fences which are adorned with geometrical and floral designs. Abdul Fateh Khan Tegh Jung founded paigah nobility who had served the second Nizam. The title of ‘shams-ul-umra’ which means the sun amongst the masses was bestowed to him by Nizam. In the year of 1786 Abdul Fateh Khan Tegh Jung was buried at the entrance of the complex and the tomb of teng jung presents a fascinate architecture with exquisite lattice work with a massive canopy. Later it is renovated by his son Amir E Kabir.

These are the few reasons to visit paigah tombs. Except on Friday you can visit these tombs on all other days from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.
