Rahu Ketu / Sarpa Dosha Nivarana Pooja are performed daily between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM in Sri Kalahasteeswara Swami Temple in Sri Kalahasti. Although you can do pooja at any time, performing pooja during Rahu Kalam is considered to be auspicious. Sunday and Tuesday are the best days to perform the pooja because Sunday and Tuesday are the days considered for Rahu and Ketu.
Sri Kalahasti Rahu Ketu Pooja/Naga Dosha Explanation:
In Sri Kalahasti, this Pooja will take place during the Rahu Kalam Times, the devotee must plan accordingly so that they are available during the Rahu Kalam Time in the Temple.

For Rahu Ketu Pooja, All Pooja materials are provided at the ticket counter after purchasing the ticket. Devotees can buy sum Bel / Bilva / Bilwa outside the temple. Rahu Ketu Pooja Ticket includes Pooja material / Pooja Samagri so additional pooja materials are not required.
Rahu Ketu Pooja in Sri Kalahast temple will be performed batch-wise in Mandapam and in the halls, for which the entrance and exit doors will be different because the devotee after finishing Pooja must leave for Lord Shiva Darshan inside the Temple.
For Rs.500 ticket, everyone can sit in a hall, it will be crowded and still have room to perform Pooja. The temple priest will guide you through the Pooja, he will speak into a microphone so that it can be heard by all. He will explain each stage in Telugu, Tamil and English so that the devotees can easily follow him and perform the pooja.

Procedure to be followed for Rahu Ketu Pooja/Sarpa Dosha:
- One day before pooja, you have to sleep on the floor (not compulsory)
- The next day morning, after the bath, plan to arrive at the temple early and perform an Abhishekam with milk to the idols at Rudra Padam (which is 100 feet from Pathala Ganapathi), then make 3 Pradakshinam to the idols Simply sprinkle the milk on the idols. Rudra Padam is where Rahu Ketu Pooja and Kala Sarpa Dosh pooja once played.
- After Abhishekam, perform Rahu Ketu Kala or Sarpa Dosha Pooja
- After performing the pooja, plan to donate meals or fruits to 2 or 3 poor peoples.
- Take bath after reaching hotel or home, No need to remove or throw clothes.
