Nagari Samaalamma Temple is located before Gundrajukuppam Saibaba Temple and Nagari Government Hospital, Near the Electric substation. The Presiding deity Samaalamma at Nagari was installed under a Banyan tree and has no temple constructed for her only some Rock aligned ones above resembling a compound wall of about 2 feet in height.
This temple is very near to the Pandu Raju Banda on the Puttur – Nagari Highway near the Electricity substation. She is deemed to be a powerful god and very kind to the devotees. A few Tamil movies have been shooted here and have hit the box office.
