14 February 2015 Srinivasa Mangapuram, Tirupati: The presiding deity Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy at Srinivasa Mangapuram received two precious jewels from the coffers of tirumala for the special the occasion of on going annual Brahmotsavams.
On Saturday The Tirumala temple Dy executive officer Mr. C.Ramana handed over “Seema Kamalalu” and “Kempu Sankha-Chakralu” to to Tirupati Jeo Mr.P.Bhaskar during the Shobha Yatra of the famous Lakshmi kasula haram in Tirupati. “Seema Kamalalu” and “Kempu Sankha-Chakralu” have been offered to the deity. These value of the jewels were estimated around Rs.15.28 lakhs.
Meanwhile the shobhayatra was commenced by Tirupati Jeo Mr.Pola Bhaskar from Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam administrative building. These Lakshmi Kasuka Haram which are brought from Tirumala will be decorated to the processional deity Lord Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy on Saturday evening on the occasion of Garuda Seva at Srinivasa Mangapuram.
Early in the course of the day, the sacred Andal Goda Devi garlands have reached Srinivasa Mangapuram from Sri Govinda raja swamy temple. These garlands may even be decorated to Kalyana Venkateswara for the special day.
Before reaching Srinivasa Mangapuram Temple the Shobha Yatra passed through the main streets of Tirupati with tight security. The Jewell was received by the temple dy.e.o. Mr.E.C.Sreedhar in a traditional temple custom at the entrance of the temple.
Meanwhile ttd has made elaborate preparations for the massive occasion of the 9 day spiritual fete by deploying a hundred security personnel, one hundred srivari sevakulu for Garuda Seva. The Lord decked in dazzling jewels and clothes will ride on golden Garuda from 8pm to 11pm on Saturday evening.
Tirumala Temple DyEO Mr.Chinnamgari Ramana, Peishkar Mr.R.Selvam, VGO Mr.Raveendra Reddy, AVSO Mr.Giridhar and others were present at the occasion.
