Kurupathi Swamy or Kora Meesala Venkateswara Swamy or Kurumurthy Swamy Temple is famous Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple in located in Kanchana Kruha(cave) on Kurupathi Hills in Kurumurthy Village near Ammapur village, Chinnachintakunta Mandal, Mahbubnagar District, Telangana. This Temple is 43 kilometers from Gadwal town and 62 kilometers from Mahbubnagar. This Kurumurthy Swamy Temple is also known as Poors Tirupati or Second Tirupathi.

Like Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy temple this Kurumurthy Swamy Temple is also situated on 7 hills called Seshadri, Yekadri, Durgadri, Ghanadri, Pallukadri, Pathakadri and Devatadri. Here the lord is Swayambhu (self manifested) and is belied to be built in 1350 AD.

In 15 century Raja Sombhupal donated Shanku, Chakra, Kireetam (crown), Makarakundanalu, Bhuja Kireetam and other ornaments to the lord. In 1968 the Andhrapradesh Endowments department presently Telangana Endowments department has taken the this temple into their custody from the Rajas.

Sri Kurumurthy Swamy jatara or Annual Brahmotsavalu is the biggest jatara in the district, this jatara is held for 19 days and will start from Deepavali. Uddala Seva and Alankara seva are the important sevas conducted in this temple.

Uddala Seva: Uddala seva will be performed when foot wear will be carried and presented to Sri Kurumuthy Swamy. Uddalu (Padaraksha) is made by a dalit family in Vaddamanu Village. Uddalu are made with cow skin.

Alankara Seva: On this Day Sri Varu is fully decorated with Shanku, Chakra, Kireetam (crown), Makarakundanalu, Bhuja Kireetam and other ornaments.All the jewelries are kept in a bank in Atmakur after the festival.
