Sri Mogileeswara Swamy Temple is a famous Shiva temple located in Mogoli Village, Bangarupalem Mandal, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh. Here Shiva is worshipped in the linga form. The main deity was first found by Mogilliappa who later placed the linga under a Mogili tree. That’s why this temple was named “Mogilieeswara Temple”.
During Shivaratri, Brahmotsavams are celebrated for 10 days in a grand manner. Brahmotsavams in this temple will commence on 15th February 2023 and end on 25th February 2023 (8 days).
