About ISKCON Mira Road:
ISKCON Mira Road was formerly in Bhayandar and by the end of 1996 it was changed to Mira. Their presiding deities are Sri Sri Radha Giridari, Jagganath, Baladev, Subhadra and Gaura Nithai. The temple consists of Auditorium, Govinda, guest house for visitors. Every day in the temple there are speeches in English and Hindi. There are several skits, dramas, dances conducted by small children on occasions. The temple also offers several programs for young boys and girls. Sunday Feast offers a lavish prasadam party for everyone. The current temple is small, so ISKCON Mira Road started a big project to build a bigger temple. The new temple will be large and spacious and attract more followers. ISKCON Mira Road leads to Jagganath Rath Yatra every year and thousands of followers participate. During Rath Yatra, free prasadam is distributed to all devotees.
