Srikalahasti Rahu Ketu Pooja Ticket Booking:
Pilgrims can buy tickets on the same day. Temple officials use the old booking method. There is no online reservation for any pooja in Srikalahasti. The best time to visit the temple is 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. every day. However, some people believe that the best time to perform the ritual is during Rahu Kalam (the times are listed below) and on Tuesdays and Sundays.
All the puja Material or Samagri is provided by the temple authorities at the ticket counter after buying the ticket. No need to buy any other samagri for the pooja at the temple. Ticket cost and payment details are given below.
SriKalahasti Rahu Ketu Pooja Procedure:
- Pooja is performed in the Mandapams with a specific procedure and time. It takes 30 to 45 minutes to perform the pooja.
- The holy priest will guide you on how to perform the Rahu Ketu Pooja by using a microphone. The priest will guide in three languages, English, Telugu and Tamil.
- Pooja procedures will be performed as instructed, and if a devotee misses a step, support staff will guide them.
- After the puja take the silver idols of Rahu and Ketu and place them in the Hundi inside the temple and have Sri Kalahastheeswara and Gnana Prasunambika Devi darshan.
- After reaching home have a bath and wash the clothes. No need to throw the clothes, you can keep them.
Rahukethu Pooja Items Provided:
Rahu Ketu Pooja items are provided by temple officials when paying for their pooja tickets. They are found in shops while entering the temple. The Shop vendors encourage devotees to buy some pooja items, don’t buy from outside vendors all puja materials are provided by the temple authorities.
