Tiruchendur Sri Subramaniya Swamy Temple is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Murugan and is second among the six abodes of Arupadaiveedugal in Tamil Nadu. The ancient name of this temple is Jayanthipuram. This Tiruchendur Murugan Temple is 34.6 km from Thoothukudi, 52.7 km from Tirunelveli and 90.5 km from Kanniyakumari. The puranic name or historical name for this temple is Jayanthipuram. The main deity is Lord Subramanyam who graces the devotees with his six faces with his consorts Valli and Deivanai.
The daily worship protocol here is known as Kumara Tantram.

7) During the Purattasi month Navarathiri festival is conducted for 9 days.
