The three-day annual ‘Shakambari Devi’ festival will be celebrated at the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy temple, Indrakeeladri from July 22 to July 24. During this festival, Goddess Kanaka Durga takes the form of Mother Shakambari and the presiding deity is decorated with vegetables and fruits and worshiped as Shakambari Devi.
More than 40 tones of vegetables and fruits are used to decorate the temple and the Goddess.
Vigneshwara Puja, Akhanda Jyothi, Ankurarohana, and Vastu Homam are performed. During this three-day festival, Durga Malleshwara Swamy temple will offer special pujas and rituals to Goddess Shakambari Devi.
