The Kerala government has granted permission for bathing in Pamba river from today ie 11-12-2021.
The Kerala government has announced more flexibilities for pilgrims arriving at the famous Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa Temple located in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala.
Authorities had previously issued various pros and cons in light of the continuing threat of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Ayyappa devotees would now be allowed to bathe in the Pamba River (Pambasnanam) and also perform rites of homage to ancestors (balitharpanam).
