Arunachalam Temple Karthika Deepam Details:

| 1st Day | Karthigai Deepam Event begins with Dwajarohanam (flag hoisting). Lord Arunachaleswara Utsava deity and Panchamurthigal will be taken out in a procession. |
| 2th Day | Karthigai Deepam begins with Lord Panchamurthigal, Indra Vimanam procession in the evening Hours. |
| 3rd Day | Lord Panchamurthigal Simha Vimanam procession in the evening hours |
| 4th Day | Lord will be taken out in a procession on Kamadhenu Vahanam in the evening Hours. |
| 5th Day | Silver Rishabha Vahanam in the evening Hours. |
| 6th Day | Silver Chariot Procession |
| 7th Day | Maha Ratham (Rathotsavam). A huge Wooden chariot will be pulled by the devotees on Arunachalam Karthika Deepam. |
| 8th Day | Aswa Vahanam (Huge Horse Vahanam) |
| 9th Day | Kailasa Vahanam |
| 10th Day | Around 4:00 am: Bharani Deepam will be lit at the temple.
Around 6:00 pm: Maha Deepam will be lit on the top of the Hill. Maha Deepam will be lit with the fire from Bharani Deepam. Periya Nayagar Golden Rishabha Vahanam Procession. Teppotsavam will be performed in the Temple Tank. Lord Arunchaleswarar will be taken out in a procession around the Hill. Girivalam (Giri Pradakshinam). Thousands of devotees participate in this holy event. |
