1) Can anyone enter the temple?
Yes, People of any Cast and religion can enter Somnath temple. But no one is allowed to enter the main Sanctum Sanctorum except the Priests.

Darshan/Darisanam Timings From 6.00 AM to 9.30 PM.
Aarti Timings: Morning = 7:00 AM, 12:00 Noon, 7:00 PM.
Light &Sound Show Timing = 8.00 PM To 9.00 PM.
(Except in the Monsoon / Rainy Season).
4) Are there special facilities for the physically disabled and the elderly?
Wheelchairs / golf carts are available for the disabled and for senior Citizens at the main gate of the temple. There is Lift Facility is available in the premises of the Temple.
5) Are there facilities available to visit the site or visit the nearby temples?
The Tirth Darshan bus facility is available for a small fee that takes pilgrims to nearby temples for Darshan. The bus leaves the main gate of the temple and its schedule is from 08:30. at 15:30

10) Should I take off my Footwear before entering the temple?
Yes, you must take off your footwear before entering the temple premisis. The shoe house is available near the coat room and this service is free.
11) Can I take my cell phone and other gadgets with me to the temple?
No. All electronic / electrical equipment, gadgets are strictly prohibited (ie, mobile devices, cameras, laptops, tablets, calculators, etc.). All of these can be stored in lockers available in the Cloak room and it is free service.
12) Are there any restrictions on the dress code? Indian Sarees, Dhoties, Pant,T-Shirt, Skirts are allowed.?
Mini-skirts and disrespectful outfits are not allowed and it is advisable to avoid it. It is FORBIDDEN to smoke in the vicinity of the temple at all times.
13) Is photography and Videography allowed?
Photography is strictly prohibited inside Somnath Temple. High Resolution Photographs / Frames are available from Souvenier Counter.
14) How to perform Pooja Vidhi / donations?
Pooja Vidhi / Donations are accepted by any means (ie, Cheque, Cash or by online Transfer). Request a receipt when donations are given to administrative staff. Alternatively, you can deposit in the donation box stored inside the temple. Cheques / D.D. should be in favor of SHREE SOMNATH TRUST on behalf of Prabhas Patan.

No, the travel desk is not available.
