Gangaur, Gauri Tritiya
Gangaur, also known as Gauri Tritiya, is a North Indian festival, mainly celebrated in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Gujarat.
According to Purnimant calendar followed in North India, the festival begins on the first day of Chaitra and is celebrated for 18 days. In Purnimant based calendar, Chaitra month starts about fifteen days before Ugadi and Gudi Padwa.
